Information we collect
The creator waitlist asks for an email address, Instagram handle, and consent to receive waitlist communications. If you choose to personalize your application, we may also collect your city, category, follower range, languages, content formats, and collaboration interests.
Agency access requests ask for a name, work email, agency name, and communication consent. Website, role, and typical campaign volume are optional.
Why we use it
We use application information to operate and review the waitlist, understand creator and agency needs, improve the planned product, prevent duplicate submissions, and contact applicants about relevant Spotlight updates or invitations.
We do not turn a waitlist application into a public creator or agency profile, and we do not sell waitlist information.
Storage and form security
Spotlight stores waitlist applications in a dedicated Supabase database that is separate from the planned Spotlight product and its backend. Form submissions are sent to Spotlight's server before being written to that database; database credentials are not exposed to your browser.
To limit abusive automated submissions, we temporarily store a one-way keyed hash of the submitting network address in ten-minute rate-limit windows. We do not store the underlying address in the waitlist database or use the hash to identify applicants.
Communications and consent
Waitlist communications require an explicit consent checkbox. You can withdraw that consent or ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the request.
Retention and removal
We retain founding-stage applications only while they remain useful for access review, product validation, or necessary operational records. You can ask us to remove or correct your application by emailing support@spotlight.example.
Analytics and cookies
Spotlight does not currently use analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, or behavioral profiling on this site. These waitlist forms do not set browser cookies.

We may update this notice as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. A revised version will show a new update date on this page.
